How To Install Pyrit In Kali Linux
Running kali linux – kernel 4.8note: do not use apt-get upgrade at the beginning of this tutorial ( you can upgrade later if you need, but it contains many unstable packages) if you are using the latest kali sana 2016.2.install the latest linux image, “apt-get install linux-image-4.8*””apt-get install linux-headers-4.8*”and then proceed with the tutorial.If you have any issues with the bumblebeed service not starting at boot, typenano /etc/rc.localadd “service bumblebeed start” before the “exit 0” linesave and exitreboot and enjoy!

This command will start WiFite and ask you to provide information on WiFite Key and WiFite Username. WiFite Key is a password that is set in WiFite_key.conf, WiFite Username is the WiFite installation user.
This is mainly due to the fact that the official build of Pyrit is currently only built for cuda kernels. Binary drivers for Linux kernels are only available for Transmeta CPUs (eg: Commet Pro). In addition to this, they also tend to have significant performance issues. On top of this, GNU/Linux was never designed to work with accelerators and memory is managed in a Kernel level (ATI proprietary drivers are great examples of this). Commet Pro itself actually uses a “fake” Linux kernel inside its own hardware and has been proven to be very performant on low specced hardware.
