I am happy to see that the major improvement in performance of Photoshop CS6 is that it is overall much faster at opening files for quick edit.
I like the new behaviour in the timeline. Previously, when you would start a quick edit on the timeline, you would experience the start of the edit before the previous edit had completed. Now the tool just pops you into the timeline at selected time range. This has allowed me to hightlight ranges of my timeline for this edit of a large number of images, the first being a large group.
The new painting tool is really useful for quick masking and making fades occurs without the need of customising the Layers palette or mouse movements.

The naming is a bit streaky on some finishes but I think that will get better with time.
